<\/figure>Constantin P\u00e2rvulescu<\/strong> obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2006. He has worked at universities in the United States, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, and Romania, as well as in the film and performing arts industries. He heads the Janovics Center for Screen and Performing Arts Studies<\/a> and has won national and international<\/a> research grants. He is the author of two monographs and numerous articles on film and television, as well as the editor of several collections and special issues of journals.
