Habilitation

For both the domain of Theatre and Performing Arts, and that of Cinema and Media, the habilitation process fully observes the legal framework of the Ministry of Education (nr. 199/2023, OME 3998 published in MO no. 236 of 20.03.2024) as well as the BBU statute regarding habilitation.

Before submitting the habilitation portfolio, all basic CNATDCU (National Council for Attesting Titles, Diplomas and Certificates) performance criteria need to be met by those interested.

The Doctoral School of Theatre and Film has added additional criteria that need to be met to obtain habilitation and to enroll as a Phd. coordinator. These criteria aim to reflect excellence in creation and research so they have been included to raise the performance and outreach of our Doctoral School.
